Fraser Island and Sailing Whitesundays Island

First of all, just want to show you the beautiful paint in my car. An artist was inspired and all he needed was a white car.

Fraser Island is a huge sand island (there is more sand than in the sahara desert, that's what they say...) and it's famous for its wildlife and freshwater lakes. I can tell you: It's a good place to visit: 4wd needed (hips of fun!!), amazing lakes with the most clear water I've ever seen (I'm not exagerating!!), dingoes (seem dogs but they are really wild) unique place in the world where they still are pure. We too saw dolphins, whales, turtles...

Lake Mackenzie: swim and drink at the same time. The water comes only form the rain.

You could find isolated places in this island, where enjoy the sounds of the nature.

After Fraser Island, day and a half driving and a couple of days sailing in the whitesundays islands. We were lucky and the wind was pretty strong (35 knots) so good sailing with an excompetition vessel (Broomstick).
