Arrival to Sydney & First days
(For all the english speakears, sorry for my mistakes, but I'm still on the way of my great english :-P)
ARRIVAL
I just arrived to Sydney four days ago. Friday 6 AM. Sydney morning in June can be really cold, believe me. When sun comes out, then everything changes, the sun in this country is very powerful, even more than in Spain, so by day, the temperature is not so bad. Anyway my plans are going to north looking for the warm as soon as I arrange everything.
SLEEPING
I spent the first night in a hostel in a district called Kings Cross (it's like Red light district in Amsterdam or Gothic in Barcelona), full of UK young people (drunk at night, hangover by day). Not was I was looking for. Anyway I spent there only one night.
Then I met Brad, a new australian friend, and now I'm staying as his place in Bondi (what a nice place and a beatiful beach). Since I'm in Sydney I'm meeting a lots of interesting people. Thanks to Brad and his friends I'm feeling really great.
KNOWING PEOPLE
I've going out just a couple of nights, dinner and some biers ...iu know...easy. But last Sunday we had a great birthday celebration of a Brad's indian friend, there was plenty of foreign people, I've even meet a girl born in Catalonia (she didn't wanted to speak spanish nor catalan). There was too a really interesting english guy who really seems to enjoy his live...and a Irish...and...
Yesterday I had dinner with Paula and Frederic. I knew Paula because another good friend of mine. We chatted a lot and have a good time together. They gave me some good advices and give me the chance to practice my catalan (I don't want to forget my own language!!)
TOURISM
I was a tourist for a couple of days. In fact, I'm a really bad tourist, don't like to spend money but there are some things you must visit on Sydney. Sure there are lots of more things (blue mountains,...) but my plans are to be here again in summer so...What was done:

- the Opera (of course). A really "must" of Sydney, so much better than the photos. GREAT!
- The center of the city. It's ok but nothing really incredible.
- Mainly. A ferry takes you there, and it's really great to see the Sydney bay from it. The walk to the Spit (9km) is very interesting. Very enjoyable!!
- Bondi Beach (of course). Lovely place now in winter, I don't know how it's in summer but now is quite interesting with not lots of people around. - King's Cross (at night). It's the "party" district of the city. If you want to go out, drink and... it's perfect! If not, then go to another place.

-Darling harbour. Nice place for sunbathing in winter.
BUYING A CAR
Here goes the real trip!!
I spent all Monday in my main task of getting the right car to make the round trip. It's not a piece of cake to make the right choice. the thing is you have to take into acount, apart from the car itself of course, the REGO, the registration of the car, and it takes a while to understand howit works because in Australia there different states and not all of them have the same rules (and prices). After a few visits, conversation and reading, in my case the best choice is Ford Falkon Wagon (is a really large car where you can sleep in without any problem at all),cheaper than a van, less consumer and probably more reliable. It's the most extended car in the country so you can get spare pieces without any problem. Now is the low season and when I'll sell the car will be high season so probably I could get money from this. So, you see, at least a couple or more days just working on these things.

Beso
